Washing Frequency

• Wash after 1–2 weeks of wear, or when you notice odor, dust buildup, or the style becoming flat
• Avoid washing too frequently, as it may accelerate fiber aging and cause frizz

Washing Steps

1. Detangle first: Before washing, gently detangle the wig starting from the ends and working your way up to the roots. Work in sections to avoid pulling and excessive shedding. If you encounter stubborn knots that cannot be detangled, carefully trim them instead of pulling to prevent further damage.
   • Straight hair: use a wide-tooth comb
   • Curly/wavy hair: gently separate with your fingers following the natural curl pattern; do not use a comb
2. Prepare water: Use lukewarm water (around 30°C / 86°F). Avoid hot water, as it may damage or deform the fibers.
3. Add cleanser: Mix in a small amount of fabric softener or a product specifically designed for synthetic hair.
4. Soak and clean: Submerge the wig and let it soak gently to soften the fibers (do not rub or twist). Lightly hold the wig cap and gently swish the wig in the water to help remove dust and buildup.
5. Rinse thoroughly: Use cool or lukewarm water to rinse until all residue is removed.
6. Remove excess water: Gently press with a towel to absorb excess water. Do not wring or rub.
7. Air dry: Lay flat or hang in a well-ventilated area to dry naturally. Avoid direct sunlight.

Notes

• Do not use conditioner or deep treatment products, as synthetic fibers cannot absorb them and may become sticky
• Avoid high heat when blow-drying; if needed, use cool air on a low setting for light styling

How do you keep synthetic/blended hair from frizzing?

To help prevent frizz, lightly spritz a detangling spray and gently smooth through the hair using a brush or comb designed for synthetic hair. If you don’t have one, you can carefully use your fingers. For heat-friendly synthetic hair, a flat iron on a low setting can be used to tame frizz and flyaways.

Can you dye synthetic/blended hair?

No, synthetic and blended hair cannot be dyed.
